Lasagna Bolognese
Ingredients (for 6 people)
For the Bolognese sauce:
500 g minced meat (beef or beef/pork mix)
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 carrot, diced
2 celery stalks, diced
800 g crushed tomatoes (canned)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
150 ml red wine (optional)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon Herbes de Provence or oregano
Salt, pepper
For the béchamel sauce:
50 g butter
50 g flour
600 ml milk
Salt, pepper
A pinch of nutmeg
Other:
9 to 12 lasagna sheets (fresh or pre-cooked)
150 g grated cheese (Emmental, mozzarella, Parmesan or a mix)
